I don't agree at all. I have a p35 mobo .

I had two 3870s in crossfire on my board and i didn't get much speed increase with the second pcie slot at 4x.

You would defo get better performance with one 3870x2 in a 16x slot.

If you had an x38;x48 then that maybe would be a different matter :cool:

u still cant sell your 2900xt to some benchtester as they still sell good i think you can sell 2900xt for like 100 £ and buy 3870xt for 100£ in ebay ? can i mention ebaY? if not delete my post ;)
