HD 3800 Series gets a price drop

My 8800GT is on standby on the bay atm going up within seconds after the 9600GT launch depending on the price :D. Might be able to get a cheapo 3870XT, maybe even two :eek:

Its what we all wanted, and didnt expect for a while, i was thinking around £270 was ideal for the card but to be honest these new prices that seem to be appearing its going to be interesting times as I cant see the GX2 coming in at anywhere close to these levels! ATi may finally make the market impact they need at high end!

Also Will I suspect you will get rid of the 8800gt on the bay and buy an x2! I have a funny feeling the 9600's will come in around £120 at least due to the branding of the 9series
 
A guy at work just bought an X2 for £234 inc vat & del ;) to add to the one he had, he's so giddy I don't think he'll be leaving his house all weekend as it arrives tomorrow lol
