might be getting my EMA bonus this week and the 5750 caught my eye.

u currently have a 4670 and game at 1280 x 1024 and it pretty much runs everything maxxed out.

ME2 @ 45+ mainly around 50-60
MW2 maxxed out at 60+ (drops in heavy fire)

etc etc etc

i have an arctic power 500w i know its bad but ive been told it should be fine.

is it worth the upgrade?

also dont go saying get 5770 as i know its better and only a slight bit more but i know my psu wont run a 5770 and i cant REALLY afford a new gfx card and psu atm

Why wouldn't your PSU run a 5770? How much more power is a 5770 gunna use than a 4670 - I mean really?

Anyway - in answer to your question it's not worth the upgrade as your current GPU runs pretty much everything 'maxxed' out. However a 5750 is much faster than a 4670.

If your PSU is a danger to your hardware, those around you and yourself I'd look at getting that swapped first. How much can a half-decent seasonic or corsair cost these days, £50?

idd yeh but i do fancy an upgrade with all the new games coming out soon, i feel my 4670 is coming near the end of being able to run games max

main question really was if its a good upgrade and you kinda answered that so cheers.

also i dont think my PSU is in any danger running a 5750.

It used to be 250 - I think it's lower now.

If you want to get your post-count up (and I shouldn't say this as it's better if you contribute to the forums by helping people out) general discussion is an obvious place to weigh in.
