HD 5770 Issues - BSOD

They are combined amps, they power your GFX as well as your hard drives/fans/CPU, yes you have one cable going to your card but it still has access to all the 12v amps the PSU has on offer, unless your running thirty hard drives and sucking all the amps dry, you should not have a problem.
 
Right, so new Windows install as suggested.

9.10 drivers. Same problem.
9.11 beta drivers. Same problem.

New symptom though. When it locks up or the system asks for a reboot (say when installing or uninstalling drivers) the display is right off the right hand edge of the screen and the monitor h + v controls are locked. I physically have to power the box off and on again to get it to re-center. This is feeling more and more like a duff card to me.
