hi, just a quick question regarding the hd 5850:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-103-MS

probably a stupid question but i was just wondering whether the fans attached blow air away from or onto the gpu?
was wondering because i have a case fan on the side panel which will be right next to the card, can you change the orientation of the gpu fans? any tips?

thank you

looks like a great deal by the way.

thanks for the replies, so do you think that the side fan blowing towards the fans is the way go then? the fan is directly below and to the side of the card, so it would be blowing right where the fans are getting air from.

cheers

I would be inclined to not use the side panel as it can create turbulence, the air flow shifts better from front to back.

You can try both ways and monitor your temps with gpu-z for the gpu, and (i think) cpu-z for the mb/cpu or everest.

Hardware Monitor is the best utility to monitor all your temperatures. Shows everything you need on one compact UI.

A quick google search and you'll find a download.
