When I phoned OC yesterday I was told that the supplier would be informing them on Thursday the quantities of 5970's they are expecting.

So hopefully Mr Fatboy will be able to update us tomorrow.

We have a huge consingment of 5970 cards on the way to us should be leaving tomorrow night for delivery Monday / Tuesday next week. After back orders there will be over 100 pcs of Sapphire cards available in free stock.

I agree that's what it sounded like, it's just I am more seduced by Asus' 3 year warranty. I'll probably buy a Saphire, I've been waiting ages for a 5970. They're only listing the OC edition on the site at the moment which is a pain as there's no way to pre-order...

I have no firm eta on the XFX Blacks at all I am afraid I would suggest changing over to the Sapphire part.

After waiting so long and getting a bit too excited I panicked a bit, knowing I would be out most of today. However got in earlier than expected, have phoned and changed to the Sapphire OC.

Can't wait to get into ME2 when it arrives.
