Hi guys ive been looking on the sales on here i seen the Hd6670 and the HD6670 silent editions theres only a few quid difference so i was wondering which one you guys would go for and why??

It depends on what resolution and what your gaming needs are + if you're on a strict budget .

Theres a ddr3 and ddr5 6670, Ideally you want a ddr5 card it will be about 10-15% faster. but then for the money i'd rather get a 6850.
The silent versions are passive heatsink without cooling fans and are ok but more suited for htpc

I would get the silent edition if I were using a PC that sits in a recording studio and can't afford to have background noise from the PC interfering in recordings. Otherwise go ahead and the the Asus for £53 which has active cooling, given how little power it uses I doubt it will run noisy.

I'd always go for a passive option if buying new, with the warranty there's very little risk of it overheating and even if it does then it's only a minor inconvenience to get it replaced. Of course if your case is already full of noisy fans then just buy the active cooled card.
