Can you suggest a good HD mainly for windows booting?
Generally I dont need more than 60gigs for its partition so something small will do.. but I need it to be somewhat fast.
Raptors are a bit expensive for what they offer so I was considering something of around 200 - 320 gigs.
u see I usually use one HD with 2 partitions, the first goes to windows and apps and the second strictly to games.
then a 2nd HD again with 2 partitions... one for constant dls (torrents etc..) and the other for backup...(complete files, mp3s etc.)
I had a look at samsung and i found the smallest one to be a 200gig for about 40Euros... (25-30pounds) although from whatr I;ve read the HJ codes are the one to get and this isnt.
then from WD the first descent is the 320gig but again they use single platter tech..
Shouldn't idealy find something with 2 platters and cut it in half... so I'll end up with 2 independent partitions..? ( i don't know.. do the heads move independently?)
I think I am a bit confused... could u share ** thoughts on that..?
