How can I cool two 3.5" hard drives in the 3.5" metal bays inside a case? Silverstone TJ-08.

Damn these small cramped cases! :(

Currently I have one drive, but I'll be adding the second soon.

Also I'll be junking my laptop, I've replaced the 20GB Toshiba with a Western Digital 60GB, I would still like to use this drive. I know there are 3.5" to 2.5" but had bad experience with them, so rather use a 2.5" enclosure. Can these drives/enclosure run off USB power?

The normal way to cool a 3.5" bay is to put a fan in front of them but that doesn't look like an option here. Could you either angle your fan below them to point at them or maybe fashion some sort of cooling channel for them from the fan?

As for the enclosures question, I think it depends totally on the individual enclosure.

Are these fans on this cooler loud?

And will this lower the HD temp?

According to speedfan HD temp is 49 degrees. Bit too toasty? It feels warm to the touch. In my gaming rig the HD temps are 30 degrees

edit I've just placed a thermometer ontop of the HTPC HD so I'll confirm the temp. was 45 degrees, now 35.
