I have recently started to get the following error message on bootup :
3rd master hard disk: S.M.A.R.T. status bad, backup and replace
press f1 to continue.
Now I understand that this is pointing to a forthcoming and no doubt painful death for my HD.
My only query on this is recently I have added a few "virtual" drives and have got a mirror image running on one of them. Could it be one of these virtual drives that is the problem and not my HD ?
My HD is a 400GB Samsung split into the following three partitions : C,D and G, drives.
The following is a screenshot of my drive(s) setup.
And this is the message that Everesthome shows me.
I am beginning to think that it is definitely the HD that is dying now, could someone confirm this for sure please.
