ok im building a new computer as some of u may know i want good hardrive dont need loads of space now is it werth buying this one Western Digital Raptor 150GB 10000RPM SATA 16MB Cache

as its 10000 rpm will this increase the performance of my gaming ect or will something like this do ? Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache which is 7500 rpm ?

will there be a big diffrence in performance or any ? thanks for replys any advice helps

if any of you have any recomendations for hds please state ty
 
If you dont mind having a small hard drive for the extra performance then yes it is worth it. However you could get two 500GB drives like the WD AAKS drive or the seagate 7200.11's and have pretty decent performance from them, the raptors seek time will be a lot quicker though which I think helps in games a lot.
