Hi peeps,

I've had many terrible experiences with hard drives - I try to backup my most important stuff after those experiences. See, all these mobo's and harddrives have SMART options on them, we all enable them, and at least for me - that doesn't do much before its too late.

Now I've seen 2 nifty programs that monitor your hd's in windows, but they're kinda old: one is called HDD Health (2003 latest version) and the other HDDlife Pro is newer but I don't like it too much.

They are not updated for the latest hd's and they use the SMART info to help identify problems before it becomes a disaster.

I was wondering if any of you guys know some good programs that utilize the SMART feature in Windows??
