I can't find the thread where a bloke asked about stuttery performance with 1080P Quicktime files, so have to create a new thread.
Anyway downloaded and tried Spiderman 3 1080, with system in the sig, playback is smooth with no dropped frames by the look of it. I enabled FFDSHOW scaling from 1080P to (912 vertical) to 1050, and every 30 seconds or so I get a small video stutter. But I noticed native rez is 1920 wide, so perhaps downscaling to 1680 is the problem. CPU playback is around 59% when scaling. 51% when not scaling (total CPU loads) looks like core 1 is at 100% That's with the CPU overclocked as well!
Picture is with FFDSHOW resize disabled.
