HD Tune, Seagate 320gb Raid 0 Problem?

Here's a screenshot from HD Tune on a pair of 320gb Seagates I just bought.... Its running off an Asus P5K mobo using the Jmicron controller... setup seemed fine and really quick yet HD Tune shows these shocking graphs....

Any ideas?

I was looking to raid-0 2x640gb drives but doing some research with google shown that there were problems with raid on my P5K Premium.

So never bothered in the end

Can you remember if that was with the Jmicron controller or going with the Intel? as the P5K only has the Jmicron way of doing Raid 0

Try HD Tach - I've often had odd results in HD Tune on perfectly fine setups.

The JMicron controllers are far from the best as you've found out. Unfortunately there's not much that can be done to improve things.

So this is purely a JMicron problem? And there is nothing that can be done bar get a RAID card or better motherboard? Ow.
