My dad went and ordered Sky HD without talking to me, they installed it on Wensday.

We have gone from standard Sky Digital to Sky+ HD and omg

On a Panasonic TH-42PX600B everything looks amazing.

I watched my first ever football game in HD (Ital v Ukr) and the difference in picture quality is very noticable. You can see blades of grass, lights reflecting in players eyes, lights reflecting off their boots, detailed pictures of the croweds, stunning colours, I can just keep going on.

That sunset at half time just looked out of this world.

I'm soo glad that my dad did not consult me :)

I'll be watching England V Portugal in HD tomorrow, and 24 on sunday.

Damn I love the BBC World Cup coverage.

Anyway, I'm very happy.

watching football in HD is a lot nicer but later on i be watching it on a panasonic 50" plasma on bbc HD in work. and im looking forward to it.

It is a shame I have to wait 2 months to get Sky HD installed :( My brother already has it, and like you said, the difference is huge.

I'm watching the football on ESPN HD. Great picture, but American commentators ftl. :*(

At least he doesn't get to watch Brazil v France in HD

I do though

Ahh yes but given the choice of ITV HD or Normal BBC coverage, I would go BBC no matter if it was HD or not. :)

Sky+ is damn nice. Recorded some of the England game to show my dad. No quality loss in play back as far as I can tell.

He meant as far as i can see he has went from Sky normal

to sky+HD As the new sky hd boxes are also sky plus so you can record.

its just called sky hd but u get the point

u can record with skyHD? i didnt think that was possible because the data is so much more?

And We have the hd box from telewest aswell my god it pants IMO

Slow menus and generally poor layout and a lack of channels.

Sky hd is far superior
