I have a pair of old WD Blacks (640GB) in raid 0 and am wanting to see if they are still healthy and maybe see how fast they are transferring. Reason I ask is because BF4 is on them and takes an eternity to load. I want to rule this out as a problem before I transfer BF4 to my SSD

Can anyone recommend a program/utility for this?

Much obliged

erm not sure if any programs will read their smart info while in raid from the os

does your raid utility not supply any of this info in windows or pre boot?

Maybe you can split the raid and use ubuntu (disk utility) / sea tools / equiv to check smart info then set the raid again to boot the os once finished.

what is the rest of your system spec?
is any other program affected loading time wise?
