HD2 Vs Hero Vs Dragon Vs Iphone.

I want to replace my N73 with a smartphone but I can't decide which is the best for me.

HTC HD2 looks great,huge screen and I've read some good reviews about it,but it comes with Windows mobile.I don't have any experience with WM,but it looks like it's aged and Android is far superior.And I have no idea what kind of apps are available and if they are free or not.

Hero,now that looks like a great phone.The screen is smaller than the other phones which is a minus.

HTC Dragon/Passion.I am waiting for this one to be officially announced because from what I'm reading it will be a HD2 with Android and thats great.

And last but not least,the iPhone.Huge collection of apps and maybe the best touchscreen.

So these are my choices.What do you recommend?Is anyone else waiting for the Dragon?

Check out the HD2 thread here - I've posted a number of screenshots from various areas of the OS and it definitely doesn't look aged. The HTC Sense UI is a joy to use.

What apps are you after? If you want endless soundboards and cartoon games then get an iPhone. If you want things you'll actually have a use for, get an HD2

Hero is really a great phone and i am not easily pleased. Great thing about it is it isnt win mo or iphone and it actually fits nice in your hand and pocket. My mates iphone is just way to big. Could do with some extra ram and a bit faster though. Screen res is the same as the iphone so though smaller its really good.
HD2 is truely a great phone from the specs but its huge and the windows mobile OS isnt the best though senseui does help cover it. Windows mobile isnt bad just its not phone frendly and could really use a mouse not finger touch.
Iphone is great too but just too big also. The lack of being able to customise, multitask and actually use the 'desktop' screen to display info is a big put off for anyone with any sense.

If the other phone is the HD2 with android and is coming soon i'd wait for that. other than that i'd choose the hero again at this point.

I have HTC hero, its a good phone.

However, getting to near to the new year when some 1ghz Andorid 2.0 phones will be released!

I'm going for the HD2. My contract is up now and i could wait for the new Android Snapdragon phone, but i want a new phone now so if needs be i can always sell the HD2 when the new ones are released. Yeah the HD2 is big, but the price u pay for a big screen, which will be good for net and videos, so its a plus and a minus. As for the iPhone, no doubt its a good phone but i just wanted something different as most of my mates have them.

If I was choosing right now, I'd go with the Hero. That said, Vodafone don't offer it so when I upgrade at the end of the month, it'll be the HD2.

I think I will not upgrade yet

.I want a phone with HD2's hardware and screen,iPhone's apps and Hero's Android.I guess I will have to wait a few years for that phone to come,lol.

On that basis i am going to say iPhone 3GS because i have one and its great!

Alright,I just used a HD2 and it is awesome,what a display!Very responsive and fast aswell.I can't find the Hero to try it and as for the iPhone,well that phone isn't for me.So I am either getting the HD2 or the Hero.Is anyone here who has tried/owned both of them?A user comparison would be very nice.
