Not that long, just play your games (main purpose for the machine, right?) as normal and watch for artifacts.

That's my testing methodology too.

Are their any other options for 2900Pro cooling other than the Thermalright? Damn fan is loud

Got mine at 820/1000 with ease though with stock hsf

Damn, I must have the worst pro there is, I can't even get 790Mhz on the core, as I get artifacts in Whiteout!

Just checking people are using the latest and not some earlier ones which actually work better with this card or when overclocking - wouldn't be the first time it has happened.

I loaded the 7.10s yesterday evening and will have a play later today and see how far I can go.

Can't recommend the games, but i'm sure gareth using his cross-fire 2600xt's can.. he seems up on benchmarks

Incidently you should be able to get to at least 800/900 if not 820/950 on your card (nothing in overclocking is guaranteed, but just so you know )

try Medal of Honor Airborne, or bioshock, or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl... at max settings , 1650x1050

im happy running the core lower than 800 because i can not tolerate the noise of the damn fan! and besides, no games are really pushing this card enough to need to overclock more
