HD2900 Woes!

Thank God for that :D its powered up ok and ive managed to get into windows.

It stayed on the first screen for like 35 secs thou when i powered up??

everything seems ok so far.

can someone point me in the direction for the best drivers.

Also whats best way to remove all the geforce drivers??

Great news that. :D

Just grab the latest 7.6's from ATi.

Then go into add/remove and remove the Nvidia drivers, then boot into safe mode and run DriverCleaner pro and select Nvidia to remove left over traces, then reboot, cancel the found new hardware wizards, and install the 7.6's. :)

my arse was proper twitching just then didnt fancy explaining to the guys at ocuk what i had done :) wuda been 260 notes down the drain.
 
Put it down as experience, Im sure a lot of us have done somthing similar when we first started out (Im guessing your new to PC building). Enjoy your card.
 
haha yeah its gone back into hiding now thou lol.

not new to building no this is the 3rd one ive built. i think i just got confused with what he was saying to me prob to excited to get home and get it up and running. oh well lvie and learn hehe :)
