HD2900Pro in the Works? WARNING from FUD!

Then just delete it from your sig and don't replace it.

2900 pro would be real nice, but perhaps too late? Will be nice to have a 'proper' mid range card. However I really consider the performance of the 8800 640MB to be the midrange, and the gtx the high end. If the 2900xt is already trading blows with the 320/640's seems strange to release a pro, as it wouldn't compete with them. It would definately have to be priced at £150 or below.

Depends how you define "rock" there certainly now beating the GTS in most instances. The DX10 driver has a LOOOOOOOONG way to go yet though.

Lies, everyone knows the Dx10 drivers are done already, and we will see that when the games hit, the first ones due in 24 days, that is not a long time.

24 days later ZOMG my ******* 8800GTS wont play bioshock Nvidia you suck. :p :p :p

As we all know, AMD has no plans to introduce R700 before the first half of next year, by that time 55nm process in TSMC should be ready to accept multi-die projects as R700. Fall will bring several new products to AMD's range of graphics products, but nothing earth shattering (unlike Nvidia's current plans).

lol

makes me laugh how its like theyre PLANNING on being 5 steps behind nvidia

If this is priced right this could well be the next card i grab.
Would love to see some specs first though.
And by its release date the drivers should be top notch.
