just reinstall the drivers, go into CCC and enable crossfire
Ye,i have put 2 crossfire bridges on as there is room for 2,should i use 1 or 2?

Don't think there is an enable crossfire option in the drivers now, you just bang the cards in and away you go don't you ? EDIT: I may be wrong by the looks of it.
Have you tested it with a game/benchmark to see if Crossfire is working.
Using 2 bridges is fine btw.
Id do a proper uninstall of the drivers, then a Driver Sweep in safe-mode, and then id try the latest drivers.

you only need 1 up to 1900 x 1200. But it shouldn't make any difference. hmm, when I put my 2nd card in it just found it and a catalyst screen popped up going on about crossfire lol.
Can you not see a CrossfireX tab at the bottom in Catalyst Control Centre? Make sure your using Advanced view (which you most likely are anyway).
If you can't get it to work by reinstalling drivers etc, try putting just the new card in and ensure its actually working. You should also try putting the old one in your second slot to ensure the 2nd PCI-E slot is working (it should work the same as if its in the 1st, I might be wrong though).

There is a crossfire option, I am using 8.10 and crossfire needs to be enabled in catalyst.
Do you have the latest GPU-Z MiNxYyY? Also make sure you have the latest catalyst drivers 8.10, your card is being picked up just seems to be a driver issue maybe.
