HD555

Hello all, I'm looking to get these headphones but I can only find them at £70 at most places.

Should I bite the bullet and pay for that price or keep shopping around for them at a cheaper price?

Or go for the DR150s? I think they're cheaper. Thank you for your time.

Music and gaming but I have an amp connected to my PC just now for both purposes. I'll also use the headphones for my phone for listening to music.

Unfortunately it is onboard but I'm getting a sound card in the future but I can only afford the headphones just now.

OK. They're both decent. DR150s have the edge for overall audio quality. HD555 better for soundstage and build quality.

If the DR150s are cheaper I'd go with them though.

If you get a soundcard down the line, HD555 are more suited to X-Fi range of cards. DR150 more suited to Xonar.

It's wether to bite the bullet for the 555's at £70. Everywhere else that is cheaper has been out of stock for weeks.

I think the DR150s are still just under £45 at the cheaper outlets. I wouldn't pay nearly twice as much for HD555s to be honest.

Well I could tell you but it is a shop in Switzerland and I'm not sure they ship outside :/

No worries.

I'll maybe wait for the 555's to go down in price again. It seems the 150's are out of stock most cheaper places. I'm not very lucky with these things.
