First of all, If this is the wrong place to post this I am very sorry =[

Ok, so I've had an eyefinity set-up for over a year now, with the same specs that are listed below:

Windows 7 Home Premium x64
HD6870 Ref. 1GB GDDR5
Intel i5 2500k @3.3 GHz
3 x LG Flatron E2251's (3x1 Configuration) and a 42" Panasonic Viera (Extended)
PSU 750 watt

Recently, whenever I try to launch games, (Battlefield 3 and GTA IV) in eyefinity, I hear the windows "disconnect" sound, the screen flickers and one of the displays remain black, the other two come back on with a resolution of 800x600. The only thing I can do to get eyefinity to work again when I start Windows is to utilise System Restore.

After I launch the games, I get a Display Port error message: "The system has detected a problem with the connection between your computer and the displayport display that will prevent you from using the highest resolution and or refresh rates"

Been using the same Active Display Port adapters now since I had the set-up, and like I mentioned, Eyefinity works fine again on Windows once I used system restore, so doubt it is a hardware problem.

I just finished playing Command & Conquer Tib wars, and it displayed the same 1920x1080 screen on all 3 monitors, without the problem occurring, but it never used too display on all 3, usually just the main display :s

It's really stressing me out.

I've tried uninstalling reinstalling the card, CCC, even MSI Afterburner incase it was causing the issue, but it wasn't.

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

>> So after deciding to re-install CCC for the 3rd time this week, I was greeted with the following error after completing the installation:
Werfault: "The exception unknown software exception (0x0000409) occurred in the application at location 0x69c3240d. Click OK to terminate the program"

Really stumped now, it also popped up again when I tried clicking the "View Log" button at the end of the installation...

Have you recently updated to new drivers or something? Normally when I have gpu issues the first thing I look at is drivers as more often than not they're the culprit. Try completely removing drivers and associated rubbish that comes with them (manually or using one of those tools like CCLeaner) then re-installing the latest ones. If this fails repeat but with older versions of drivers until you find a stable one. If you don't find one that works then you've likely a hardware problem.
