I would like to get my hands on some HDD Acoustic Silencers because when the HDD is aggressivly accessed (i.e during a defrag or decompiling (i.e installs / unraring).

I would love to get them from here but I can't seam to find them anywhere. I have seen these http://www.rbmods.com/Articles/Nexustek/Disktwin/1.php.

I have:

HDD's:
Western Digital Caviar RE 320GB 3200YS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM
Western Digital Caviar RE 320GB 3200YS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM
Western Digital Caviar RE 160GB 1600YS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM

Case:
CoolerMaster Ammo 533 Aluminum (No PSU) - Silver

Will the case be OK with these as they have funney attachments inside (i.e not screw fit but a slot in and lock into place mount for 5.25"). Further more if it is possible, what could I set up to keep the disks cool.

Thanks for reading, please reply if you have any comments / suggestions.

OcUK used to sell Silentmaxx enclosures at ~£30 for each so not cheap but apparantly very effective both at cooling (essentially a big aluminium block heatsink) and at quietening the drives so they might be worth searching out. :)
