Having a strange issue, since I rebuilt my PC chasing silence, I've now noticed my HDD's make a LOT of noise, I started investigating why and it seems they are running at full disk spin speed the entire time my PC is on. I've tried setting Windows to idle/stop them after even just a minute but it doesn't make a difference.
Something is causing this, but activity monitor is showing nothing, I can't see any programs or any files causing the need for constant activity.
Has anyone got any magic tools to make these idle when not in use?
