HDD bay cooling

So it seems the fan on my Vantec Vortex HDD enclosure is soon to be no more (I've kept it going for the last year or so by poking it when it got noisy). For those not in the know, it fits a 5.25" drive bay and takes a 3.5" drive with a fan in the front.

So, what can I replace it with? Does anyone actially make this sort of thing any more?

PS - It's a Coolermaster Stacker case, so no dedicated 3.5" bays. I've currently got two 4-in-3 bays with 2 drives each and the Vantec. While I could put the 5th drive in one of the 4-in-3 bays, I'd rather maintain low drive temps if I can.

Will it not just be a standard sized fan?

Remove noisy fan and replace with a new one.

The Vantec Vortec HDD enclosure uses a crossflow blower fan, so finding a replacement may not be so easy?

You are correct - it's a crossflow fan. Very unlikely I'll be able to replace it.

I don't really think hard drives need active cooling unless you're really cramming them in or they're 10-15krpm drives.
