HDD Bearing Failure?

I'm getting a buzzing sound from my OS HDD every second or so, is this the sign of bearing failure?

I have an empty HDD that I can copy over to, what's the best way of doing that? Can I do that with Window 7's back-up feature?

Yeah just create a system image from within the backup & restore centre. You'll be prompted to create a repair disk also which you can boot from and restore the image to the other HDD.

Ah sweet, as long as it's that easy just never used the built in feature before.
