Hi I have been having problems with my PC as you might no in last couple of weeks. Been having performance issues from shimmering graphics screen dimming when you move the camera in any game. Graphic looks smooth on objects when moving the camera but stood still look jaggy. I been trying everything to solve it from formatting and putting windows 7 to windows 8.1 and even windows 10 preview. Also been trying to mess about with parked cores etc like in one other topic. Any wayI just opened up my PC and noticed in my SSD the cable says HDD on the front. Its slot into one of the blue Sata port 3 on mobo and the cable is also blue. Could this be the problem of my issues been a HDD cable in a SSD or are they back wards compatible?.

no they are all the same regardless

anychance you can grab a screenshot of the graphics when its dimming or shimmering ect?

list your pc parts

Its not screen tearing or frame rate loss I no what that looks like. I will be sick as death if it just turns out to be crappy driver from NVidia as a lot of people are having problems but different kind. But a lot of problems with the 900 series drivers. I heard on 2nd or 10th there releasing another driver so lets hope that not even worse. I will though try and upload a vid today or tomorrow to youtube that as said if I don't get banned. :P

I done all settings on my TV too. Last resort will be taking my PC down stairs and just to double check if its not my TV.

Sorry for all the post. But it does look like driver issue then my PC. Tried Shadow play for 1st time on this new graphic card just now. Had the card for about 4 weeks now. But turning on shadow play the smoothness went even more jerky still with glitches. I turned it back off and restarted and everything was smooth but with those glitches still. I have tried it all ways with out GeForce experience installed and with GeForce experience installed and still same apart from using shadow play which makes it 10 times worse and not playable as too random skips and slowdowns. So I am 100% sure now that it is these drivers as many other are also getting errors as mentioned. Just hope NVidia not doing it on purpose to down scale PC uses with these 900 series cards. Think new cards are coming soon?. I will not be buying them though..

I don't think this is in the correct section, it should be under graphics and u will get more help if you change the title to reflect the fact that you have "shimmering in games".

I would consider listing you PC specifications, as you've already been asked to. Also post the video, I have no reason to believe that either OcUK or youtube will ban you for posting a video of this graphical anomaly.

Also I had no idea you were having pc problems, thanks for letting me know.
