I've been given a Kingston 40Gb SSD (SNV125-S2) and am wondering what best to do with it, indeed if it is any good?

I currently have a 150Gb Raptor as my C: drive, and an aging Diamond Max 10 300Gb as a random stuff D: drive.

I'm assuming that my best config is:

C: Drive - SSD
Programs/games - Raptor
Stuff - Diamond Max.

Any other thoughts?

Cheers,

tbh, i think that sounds like the best idea. although. you want speed on games etc, not so mutch your c drive, this may only be good for faster boot times, and a fraction amount faster for Opening and closing programs

Looks good. Raptors make good gaming drives but you might want to squeeze your favourite apps onto the SSD. They will benefit a lot from being installed there. From personal experience boot times not significantly improved by SDD vs Raptors. Applications are extremely fast however.
