well just a few minutes ago i finished watching a movie on my pc, and i started to notice a spinning up then clicking/clunking noise coming from my WD Caviar Special Edition 320gb naturally i thought wtf
at first i thought it was the psu but soon realised it was hdd number 2 which is actually near my psu on a seperate shelf built for it (thermaltake armor case) and an outtake fan infront of it, i then rebooted the pc and it took longer than usual got into windows and there was no output from hdd 2 couldnt see any of the partitions etc and it seems the clicking has stopped now including the spinning, i guess my hdd is now dead can any one confirm or has ever had this problem?
it was bought from ocuk b grade section about 3 months ago, where do i stand or am i screwed, the hdd seemed new when i bought it (wrapped up in WD packaging, hadnt been initialized etc)
