Changing my BIOS settings from Native IDE to RAID, so I can set up a RAID 0 array, is causing my existing Win 7 install to BSOD at startup.

I'm guessing it's due to a lack of drivers for the RAID controller, but have no idea how to get them going.

Any help?

There is a simple registry change that you need to make.

I can't remember it off the top of my head, but a quick Google should return the correct key pretty quickly.

Just search for "IDE to RAID Windows 7" or some such.

You will have to go onto the Intel web site for your RAID controller.

That's what I've been trying, but can only find rumours of the fix, and not the actual fix itself. Thanks for your help.
