Tried to move some content around on this drive today, and it wasn't behaving as snappy as normal, so checked it in crystaldisk and this is what it says. Is this drive in trouble?

CrystalDisk says one of my drives is failing too. Been on caution for 6 months. The drive has problems when transfering data to and from it and always freezes for a few minutes near the end of the transfer. Fortunately I have 6 drives and have backed up the files on the failing one, no warranty left though in it. Do you have any warranty left on this?

chkdsk didn't find any issues on the drive, but i'm still real nervous. any other things i should check?

no warranty left on it, so would be looking to replace if it's on the way out.

I did try to copy a few 2GB file already sitting on the drive, two of those transferred fast, the other was crawling at 17mb/s. Pretty sure the drive has issues at this point.

Been looking at a new drive, and saw the 3tb WD Reds for around £90: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-398-WD&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=1955

I think the WD MyCloud NAS drive has Reds in them, and the 3TB version is £110. So started to think maybe I could grab the 3TB MyCloud nas, take out the drive from it, and get a NAS for £20 as the price difference seems to be only £20.

Thoughts?

Yes it's dying. I had similar errors on a Corsair SSD and it just got worse and worse until eventually it just wouldn't boot. I got it replaced under warranty.

Check the windows event logs and you will probably see disk errors/warnings there too.
