Basically when trying to copy certain files off a HDD im getting a device IO error.
Sometimes the drive just dies out of windows..
Basically I know the things buggered, im trying to dump whats left on the drive onto an external and struggling, any tips or tricks?
Concidering iv used my PC a handful of times within the past year due to it being at home and me being away working im a bit peeved that iv had 3 drives die on me, this one isnt even old either, atleast id been using the other 2 as main drives for 3years and theyr mechanical failures with clicking and what not.
Freezer is helpin me salvage some files off it but its a slow process as I can only get a limited amount before the drive warms up again.
