just finished a new build for my dad, including a new 160GB HDD. Need to get the data and stuff off the old drive but can't find all of the files.
Plugged it in, recognised it fine and everything. Managed to copy across all the shared files etc but can't find my dads work docs. i assume its because he had them set to unshared and he had a password on his old PC; there is a supposedly empty folder called user within docs and settings that is empty but thats the only folder i can think the file are in?
any ideas welcomed cos i havn't got a clue
