hdd for a cctv dvr

Hi iam looking for the correct hdd for my cctv system.

I no you can use a standard hdd but there not made for 24/7 read/write

what would be the correct hdd for this use.

No you need a green one these are built for media systems like tivo's or 24/7 recorders.

Edit: or you can use 7200rpm or above but the green hdd will use less Electric
