HDD for My Build.

Hi, I's stuck between Samsung F3 500GB, and The WD caviar Black 500GB.

every one always says that the 'rich mans' WD is better, but the only difference to me is the price and the 16MB cache.

Doe's that really make massive differences?

Or just milliseconds?

I'm pondering the same hard drive choices too.

I'm tempted just to pay an extra tenner to get a 5 year warranty, but saying that I'll probably move to SSD in the next 3 years so the 3 year Samsung warranty would suffice and it's supposed to be the quicker drive of the two.

The F3 is a fair bit quicker and is also cheaper. No brainer.
