I need you folks to help me decide on a internal HDD which will be going into a external USB 3.0 Icy Box. I am looking for performance and most importantly reliability as it will be holding some very important files.

I have been looking at the WD Green 1TB 64MB Cache but just saw this is 5400RPM and have read in other sites that the WD Blacks may not work in a external box due to power requirements :(

What are the Samsung F3s like in terms of reliability? I do see that they have great performance but I have never used any Samsung drives.

I would have looked into this myself but I have a lot of work to do on top of this and would appreciate your help.

I will be mainly using the drive for video work from Adobe Premiere on a Win 7 64-bit machine the final outputs will be backed up onto this drive.

Got 2 F1 750gb, 1st one 2 years ago and one about 4 months ago when o/c got them back in, 1st one is just as silent as the new one and no problems with either.
