hdd image software

i have tried acronis and n ghost but neither of them work properly with my SATA. they both get the part where they restart windows and load in dos or what ever it is but they both hang and do nothing which has resulted in me having to reformat and go back to square one and get my system the way i want it all over again.

is there any simple free easy to use programs out there that work with sata

which version of acronis were you using?

i've never had any problems on any system (sata/ + old pata raid)

i think it was home 10, ill just have a quick look

EDIT: yea i think it was true image home v10
