Hi everyone.
Will be getting a pc built next month with a 1TB SSD and was wondering if I need a HDD if the pc is going to be used purely for gaming.
Games will be ones like WoW, CoD, BF, CiV. Will be using my laptop for photos, work etc.

I'm at the top of my budget already so if not needed then I really don't want to waste any money on one.
I've looked around but keep getting conflicting information so some good info would be great thank you

For gaming a SSD is a great choice. If 1TB can hold all your games, or the ones actively play then I wouldn't buy a hard-drive.
I'd only really buy a hard-drive if you needed a lot of storage for files such as photos, music and movies.

That's brilliant, thank you.
With it being used just for the games I play, I'll just stick to a 1TB SSD for now and add later if needs be.

Thanks a lot.

I manage with 500gb ssd (sata). I just have to uninstall a few games every now and again. games like total war can occupy 40gb and so you be able to install quite a few games.
