OK, so I've almost finished building my new system but I've encountered a problem. So I'm using a 64GB Crucial M4 SSD for OS and a 1TB Samsung F3 HDD. The problem is, after installing W7 on the SSD (in ACHI mode), the computer loads perfectly well, but it is not recognising the HDD as being connected (it's not there in 'Computer'). So, what to do?

So Windows 7 loads and runs OK to the Desktop?

If so, if you go to Control Panel / Administrative tools / Computer Management / Disk Management - what drives do you see?

Is that in BIOS or disk management? If it is disk management, just make that unallocated space a partition and then you will be able to see it.

dont you just hate it when you're buzzing with helpfulness and then it gets sorted before you type a word? haha
