HDD Issue?

I'm a bit lost as to where to put this but here goes. I have 2 hard drives, a 250gb (windows 7, drivers, steam, origin etc) and a 500gb (steam games and origin games). Lately I have began to lose files on some of my games where i'd have to acquire them through steam again and some cases i'd literally lose all the files and have to download the whole game again. I wiped both hard drives using DBAN Boot and Nuke and re-installed windows and downloaded all my games again but now its doing the same thing and im lost as to what it can be. Could this be a hard drive issue? I originally just used the 250gb hard drive before I purchased the 500gb and had no problems like this what so ever, thanks.

Yes, that could be a hard drive issue. Try testing the drives, instead of writing zeros to them and reinstalling. Otherwise the likely options are faulty ram or faulty operating system.

Your hard drive is probably knackered. Should definitely try testing it.

Thanks for the reply. The main game/s that seem to be losing files is Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead. Im going to download this game to my 25ogb hard drive instead and see how it goes, cheers.
