Hey all,
Well I'm out of touch with this but just tried to create some folders on an external drive plugged into a mac and it appears read-only, bit of research later I've found out that it's because it is NTFS formatted.
I've seen people recommend FAT32 for both, but isn't that a poor formatting system that is restricted to 4gb max file sizes from what I recall?
Is there a way I can enable full access (read and write) for both Windows and Mac based? Or will I need to choose one?
If I have to chose, would a NAS make any difference at all? (No idea why it would, just throwing it out there).... looking to make my backups easier overall.
Thanks!
