hdd not powering up...

hey guys just want some input, my hdd aint powering up, the computer sometimes picks it up sometimes doesnt. sometimes when i move the power cable the hdd will power up and either keep going or just stop... its a ide hdd

You need to investigate further into the power plug.
To see whether its either the molex plug or the socket on the drive.
Start by plugging in a different molex plug.
