My mate was having issues with his pc blue screening hardware issues etc., i found the fault to be the graphics card which i have replaced then reformatted his pc, while updating windows i starting getting random reboots then all of a sudden NO BOOT DEVICE on load up.
I removed the drive (Samsung 1000GB) and loaded it up in HDD dock, windows detected strait away and I completed a full check with no errors, again reformatted put it back in his pc and now it will not detect the drive in the bios?
His other two drives are detected OK and i have tried all the sata points and power connectors, any body have a clue what's wrong.

No go with the reset, it detects each drive separately OK, but it only detects one when both are plugged in and when i try to install windows it keeps resetting/rebooting.
I've tested the memory and psu and they are fine, so I'm unsure what it can be?

ASUS M2N-SLI DELUXE, Athlon 64 X2 6400+Black Edition.
after i detected the graphics card problem (fan on the card had burnt out and was causing it to over heat) i ran memtest and prime 95 with ok results.
When i re-installed windows and started updating i started getting the hardware errors?
i then stripped every thing out cleaned and re-seated the processor, and now have the problems mentioned, i have a spare Intel set-up, so I'll start testing all the components separately.
