What does s.m.a.r.t. status indicate on boot? As one of my newish(possibly 2 months old) hard drives is apparently BAD.

Also if it is dead or soon to be dead what should I do about it? Its a WD drive from OC.

SMART is a predictive analysis tool designed to warn of potential drive failures before they happen by noticing trends in drive behaviour. If the SMART data is showing "BAD" then I'd go and get the WD diagnostics (there's a link in the sticky) and run them to see if there is something up with the disk.
