HDD problems? WD 37gb Raptor

hi there,
I have a WD 37gb Raptor, which i think is playing up.

Thats an image from HD tune, dunno why the line isnt more straight?

but heres whats been happening on my pc, im just watching a film say, and sometimes it will lock up and the whole computer will freeze for say 1-2seconds, then it will continue. i hear a noise coming from the HDD like its stopped and is starting to spin again, also a little beeping sound.
Just wanted to know what the problem is, i have 4 HDDs in my pc atm, 3 for storage and this raptor for windows vista.

The data density drops off towards the inside of the platters so the transfer rate drops off.

There are quite a few other occurrences of this noted in the forum, take a look back over the last couple of weeks.

I would run a diagnostic test on the drive, also what PSU you you have maybe a power problem?
