HDD question.

I have recently purchased a Maxtor Diamondmax 22 500GB since i am running low in storage. I currently have a Seagate Barracude 320GB which is the primary disk of my system.
I was unable to find any professional review of this product on google to see if it would be better if i use the newer driver for my main drive since it has a 32MB cache instead of 16MB that my current drive has.
Any ideas of how this disk performs?

Find out yourself; download HD tune and run it on your old drive and new drive to see which performs faster! I bought a 250GB diamondmax 21 and that gets about 81MB/s average read in HD tune.
