Hi all,

Anyone know what is the largest single platter currently available? Basically looking for a drive the produces the least amount of vibration.

Would appreciate any info on this!

High density platters are only used on very large hard drives
It is expensive so on smaller hard drive they use multiple players
The segate 10Tb hard drive has 7 platters and 14 heads

The NAS drives are generally the best when it comes to lower vibrations
As they have to run in enclosed spaces with a lot of other drives
