This is my hdd for "My Documents" so all my docs are here as well as the paging file. I only noticed the SMART Temp monitor state either 0degrees or 255~ degrees after I installed and ran the latest Vopt defragger version 8 the other day, I only ran it on the that drive and not my Windows drive and I think Vopt did something to it.

It's on the nforce 4 SATA controller and the SATA link driver is up to date. Drive performance is better than my primary seagate 80GB sata with windows on and SMART analysis report shows it to be perfectly fine @ http://www.hddstatus.com/hdrepshowreport.php?ReportCode=773894&ReportVerification=DEE20454

Either way I'm not risking it an am buying a 320GB seagate 7200.10 tomorrow to be on the safe side and use this drive just for the pagefile.

I advise people thinking of trying the new VOPT to be careful!

edit*

Seems to be fine now :o maybe it's a glitch in the SATA controller or that I've defragged now using Diskeeper 10 ?
