Hi all. Recently built a new pc, with a 128GB M4 as boot drive.
Using an old Samsung 640GB drive as storage which is now too small.

I need a new storage drive (2-3TB), but as the SSD is too small to fit all my games on, I will have to use the HDD to run games off, watch all my media off etc.

I'm wondering whether it would be necessary to get a 7200rpm drive for these purposes, or not? I'm not keen on the Seagate warranties, and the WD Blacks are very expensive, so if 7200rpm isn't necessary, I would be considering the other WDs. Would the WD Reds be suited for this kind of use?

Thanks

Edit: Saying that, it seems Seagate have upped their warranty to 2years?
